Thiru B.Munirathinam, the founder and Chairman of Sri Akilandeswari Women’s College, was born in 1950 at Thazampoondi Village, T.V.Malai District. His parents are Thiru Balakrishna Naidu and Tmt.Renuammal. He is a firm disciple of Swamy Abedhanandha. Under his guidance he along with his friends decided to uplift the women folk of this rural area and hence they started a Trust and named the same as Swamy Abedhanandha Educational Trust.
