How to setup Episync - Wifi File Transfer apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.
Episync - Wifi File Transfer Details
Episync is an Android to PC bidirectional syncing and file transfer application which runs over a local Wifi connection. Simply open the Android app and the PC client app which runs on: Windows, Linux and OSX and let the syncing begin. Up to three sync folders can be selected on Android and PC for bidirectional sync at any given time. There is also the ability to drag files or folders to transfer them from PC to phone.Step 1:
Download the PC client app here (Supports: Windows, OSX and Linux):

Running the app:
1. Extract the downloaded PC app episync.zip folder in any directory of your choice
2. Run the Installer included in the episync folder after it is extracted
3. Connect your PC and phone to the same local Wifi
4. Run the PC app by double clicking the Episync.exe file on your PC desktop (Windows). For OSX and Linux it is located in your home directory in a folder called Episync double click Episync.jar to run the PC app.
5. Run the phone app, swipe to the right to select a nearby PC to connect to. Once the Connected message comes up folder and file sync and transfers can begin !
Synced and transferred files can be viewed:
View them from the phone app by clicking the connected host PC in the "Connected Devices" list.
In a folder called phoneSync in your Windows MyDocuments folder
In a folder called phoneSync in your home directory for OSX and Linux PCs
